Employee Assistance Program
"Assistance for a Healthy
Workplace"
- Our mission is to help companies keep their employees
reporting for duty and ready for work. Our services are designed to
identify and resolve personal, family and job related problems that keep
employees from attaining consistent, healthy performance. We execute this
goal through: counseling sessions (for both employees and their
families), groups and workshops or we assess the problem and refer to
another professional
Our Rationale - When
employees suffer from personal and job related problems, the company
suffers economically. Our EAP services help your employees lead
healthier, more productive lives and save your company costs.
- Reduced healthcare cost
- Reduced absenteeism and tardiness
- Fewer accidents (both on and off the
job)
- Improved individual and team performance
- Higher morale
- Less turnover
- Fewer unemployment and workers
compensation claims
Problems are a normal part of life, but sometimes they can get out of hand. Feelings of anger, sadness, desperation and hopelessness may begin to take over, clouding your judgment and ability to enjoy life. You may feel very alone and unable to talk to others about the things that are troubling you. When this happens, you need to seek the support and guidance of caring professionals who are trained to help.
Your business or agency may contract with Prevention and Recovery Services (PARS) to provide this Employee Assistance Program. This program is designed to assist employees and their families in dealing with personal problems that pose a threat to their health, well-being, and job performance.
Some of these problems may be related to:
- Financial difficulties
- Job conflicts/"burnout"
- Marital and relationship problems
- Relationships

|
- Addictive behaviors (ex.

How Does Your EAP Work?
Using your EAP is as simple as picking up the telephone. When you place your call to the EAP, you will have already crossed the biggest hurdle - realizing that you have a problem that
cannot be handled alone. When you call your EAP, just identify yourself and your
business or agency, and our receptionist will schedule an appointment for you. If you wish, you can also request to speak directly with one of our EAP counselors over the phone.
Who can use the EAP?
Through a contract with PARS, your employer offers you and your family complete coverage for a number of sessions of counseling annually. This service may be used by you and/or any members of your family.
- Employees and family members are eligible
- Private and confidential
- No fee to you, your family, or your insurance
- Daytime and evening appointments
- Licensed, professional counselors
Will Anyone Find Out?
All EAP sessions are confidential. The counselor will respect your privacy and will meet with you in their private office.
Should you decide to contact us, your employer will not be notified unless you request it.
Daily demands can make life difficult. Your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help you deal with any of the following personal
problems or with other issues that may be troubling you.
We Can't Help Unless You Call
This benefit is provided by your employer at no cost to you. The EAP will allow you to talk over problems and find the help that you and your family need. The EAP provides confidential assistance when you need it most.
