Welcome to Shawnee Regional Prevention and Recovery Services

Shawnee Regional Prevention and Recovery Services (PARS) is a not-for-profit, voluntary health organization committed to helping make our community a place where people of all ages are safe, connected with others, and free from the effects of crime and substance abuse.

PARS accomplishes its mission through Safe Streets, and the Prevention Services Department which houses an Evaluations program. Safe Streets works to create a healthier community by addressing substance abuse and crime through prevention education and citizen empowerment. The Prevention Services Department provides assistance and education regarding substances and related problem behaviors to youth, families, schools, businesses and the community. We also offer substance abuse evaluations and education for area youth as well as adults.

Please look through our site for information related to substance use, crime prevention, neighborhood safety and much more. We are your community resource, so if there is something you would like to see or learn about that's not on our site, please contact us at 785.266.8666 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
